1 / 4

2021 Genesis G70

This is the first luxury type car I have owned and I will never be able to go back.

PROS

Ride and Handling
Handles like a sports car.
Value
A lot of nice features and power for a great price.
Styling
Turns a lot of heads.

CONS

Technology and Entertainment
The entertainment unit lacks some features.
Fuel Economy
Uses a fair bit of gas for a car but far less than my previous truck.

2022 Genesis G70

Best purchase ever!

PROS

Ride and Handling
368 HP. 510nm of torque. Plenty of power. Brembo brakes. Great handling car, if not the best. But very tail happy. This thing can drift. Enough said.
Technology and Entertainment
The Adaptive Cruise Control and the Highway Driving Assist (HDA) works like a charm: an assistant in driving when I need it to be, occasionally for that hands-free, coffee sipping moments on long trips, while I'm still in control. From the information from its maps, the G70 changes speed on common highways as per speed limit while on cruising HDA. Comes loaded with safety features like pedestrian and vehicle obstacle detection and emergency braking.
Value
It's a bargain when you need a fun sporty vehicle.
Styling
This thing is a head turner. The Melbourne grey launch edition paint work, with its matte paint look, makes it stealthy and luxurious at the same time. No photograph of it do justice to the way the G70 looks in person. Different weather, different shades. Love it!

CONS

Fuel Economy
Terrible. 7.5km/L. But who cares

Technology and Entertainment

Styling

CONS

Interior Space
Quite compact trunk and not much room in the back but it’s fine for my kids
