2017 Jeep Wrangler

Can you daily a 2 door Jeep? Yes, yes you can!

PROS

Ride and Handling
Good power and fun to drive. Braking is confident and responsive. Transmission is smooth through the gears and works well with the engine to speed up or slow the car down.
Seat Comfort
It’s louder than most vehicles, it is a convertible after all, you either love it or hate it. Seats are very comfy.
Technology and Entertainment
Very simple, has good speakers, easy to reach knobs. No distracting screens.
Interior Space
It is comfortable and easy to reach everything when sitting in it. Fits a forward facing child’s seat just fine, access to getting said child works but can be tricky for sure. It’s a workout at times (winter weather etc). Other characteristics make up for this though.
Value
Holds value well. Plenty of character. Fun vehicle to drive and enjoy. Take good care of it and it will take care of you.
Fuel Economy
It’s decent for what it is. Driving habits will play a role as well as your type of driving. I fill up every two weeks commuting 20 total minutes to work a day.
Styling
Classic styling, lots of options for personalizing it your own way.
Reliability
It’s quite robust. It is important to regularly maintain it.

CONS

Reliability
As with anything, maintenance can be costly. When I purchased the car, many things were over looked that should have been done for a certified pre - owned vehicle. I am fortunate that I owned one before and knew what to look for / listen to / feel for. If someone was buying this blind without regard to all areas of my personal experience, I think they’d be pretty upset about it when problems started to arise.

Used Jeep Wrangler in Markham

Overview

The Jeep Wrangler is a rugged and iconic choice for drivers in Markham, offering unparalleled off-road capabilities and a distinctive style that sets it apart in the compact SUV segment. Known for its robust build and adventurous spirit, the Wrangler is well-suited for Markham's diverse driving conditions, from snowy winters to weekend getaways in the countryside.

Local drivers appreciate the Wrangler's versatility, with popular trims like the Sahara and Rubicon providing a range of features and powertrains, including 4x4 capabilities that excel in challenging weather conditions. Compared to other compact SUVs, the Wrangler offers a unique blend of open-air freedom and all-terrain prowess, making it an appealing choice for those who value exploration and outdoor activities.

Key benefits

Choosing a used Jeep Wrangler in Markham comes with several advantages:

  • Performance: The Wrangler's 4x4 drivetrain and high ground clearance compete well with rivals, offering superior off-road performance and winter readiness.
  • Features: With options for removable doors and roof, the Wrangler offers more open-air freedom than its peers, enhancing the driving experience.
  • Cost: While the initial purchase price may be higher, the Wrangler's strong resale value and Clutch's 10-Day Money-Back Guarantee provide peace of mind.
  • Reliability & Maintenance: Known for its durability, the Wrangler excels where rivals lag, offering long-term dependability with lower maintenance costs.
  • Local Relevance: Tailored for Markham roads, the Wrangler's compact size and maneuverability make it a standout option for urban parking and long commutes.

Potential trade-offs

Before purchasing a used Jeep Wrangler in Markham, consider the following:

  • Ownership Costs: Compared to rivals like the Honda CR-V, the Wrangler may be less efficient in terms of fuel economy, with higher consumption rates.
  • Trade-Offs: While the Wrangler offers off-road prowess, competitors may have an edge in cargo space and interior comfort.
  • Tech Gaps: Older models might be missing features now standard in other vehicles, such as advanced infotainment systems.
  • Trim Availability: Finding specific configurations locally, such as the Rubicon with premium features, might require more effort.
  • Space or Practicality: The Wrangler might feel tighter than expected for its class, with less rear passenger space compared to alternatives like the Toyota RAV4.
