2021 Kia Soul

Great first car for a small family.

PROS

Ride and Handling

there is decent power, i mean we got this car as something to go from point a to point b. and its serves the purpose well, it has enough power on the highways specially passing and entering highways. Braking is good, i would say enough that i feel safe about the brakes. handling is great, its stable on the highway specially with the lane keep assist on, and becasue of the compact size and wheel base, it is perfect for city driving, feels zippy and responsive specially when changing lanes.

Seat Comfort

seating is nice and comfy enough for long trips, cabin noise ins not so great specially on rougher roads, but on highways its fine

Technology and Entertainment

its enough, its got the basics, saftey features like blind spot warning are there, a decent rear camera (which is not great in the dark) wired car play (wish it was wireless, but it is what it is :) ) heated front seats and stearing wheel which is great. and the got the EX+ model so we have the sun roof which makes a big difference in the over all brightness inside the car :)

Interior Space

space is great, the car feels roomy, the car looks small outside, but it fits my family with a child seat at the back. Trunk space is nice and very accessible because of the large opening, there is a hidden compartment style where you just move the false floor to make more room (which I did since i got the car) so i can fit my childs stroller, camping chairs and some groceries.

Value

overall great value for money, me and my family enjoy it and i mean enjoy it (a-lot)

Fuel Economy

So far the car i got is great on gas, specially during this time, it takes regular fuel which is amazing!

Styling

we get a lot of compliments with the car since we got a very bright red one, front end looks mean and angry :) overall style of the car is great and does not feel old.

Reliability

so far car has not given me any issues, will soon bring it for an oil change though

CONS

Seat Comfort

overall comfort is great but the one thing we noticed, even my kids noticed is the cabin noise specally on rougher roads.

2021 Kia Soul

Car is great for city driving, just a perfect size for a small family. Great space inside.

Suspension is stiff for stable driving, but not to stiff to give a shaky ride.

Easy to maintain, everything is accessible when you work on the car. Everything has been layed out well for it to be easily serviced on my own

Its not a performance car, so if your looking for sports car performance this is not the car

2022 Kia Soul

A great Car

PROS

Ride and Handling

I love the performance. It handles like a sports car and brakes very well. The power is very good for a small 4 cylinder engine

Seat Comfort

It's very comfortable and the cabin noise isn't very loud.

Technology and Entertainment

I like the driving assistants such as helping to keep the car in the lane and the warning lights and noises. Also it connects to my Iphone to listen to my music library

Interior Space

I'm 6 foot 2 and there's plenty of room for my legs in front and a lot of room in the back seat

Value

I feel it is a good value for the price I paid

Fuel Economy

It gets good fuel efficiency.

Styling

I like the style and they keep improving on it year after year with minor changes

Reliability

I haven't had anything go wrong with it yet and hope that's the way it will be for some time to come.

Car in known for not being super powerful. But I feel it is reliable enough on highway, for long trips and for local use.
