My 2017 Kia Sportage EX review!

PROS

Ride and Handling

Great in the winter really good grip with winters, brakes on a dime might be the pads too. Has enough torque to overtake i mean its not a sports car but it goes when you need it to.

Seat Comfort

Compact but spacious inside

Interior Space

Space is great plenty of leg room front and back, headroom is good im 5’11”

Value

I like the compactness of the vehicle not too big and not too small its just a level up from a large sedan.

Fuel Economy

Its not the most fuel efficient car it does drink more than the average jap suv but I still get about 450-500km on a tank

Styling

Like the shape and over all look of the car

Reliability

Had a few minor repairs but it is a 2017. Need ac refrigerant refill had to replace signal speaker. Did regular oil change and also a transmission fluid change.

CONS

Technology and Entertainment

My infotainment had firmware issues no one was able to help update, so I ended up grabbing an external screen for carplay

Fuel Economy

Like I mentioned it does drink quite a bit of gas for city driving.

Such a thoughtfully made car and a complete joy to drive!!

It peppy and responds to speed change so quickly!

Seat Comfort

I love that it feels like a very sturdy, very solid car. I love the leather seats and how well the airflow makes every passenger comfortable.

Technology and Entertainment

It is so easy to have everything neatly organized in a sophisticated and sleek design.

Interior Space

I love the panoramic roof!! It adds so much light in and the cabin space is super comfortable.

Value

I get all of this for what I’m paying?! Yes please!! The wireless phone charging is pretty amazing!

Fuel Economy

Amazing for an SUV! Coming from a hatchback that was amazing on gas, this was a very serious deal breaker.

Styling

It’s sleek and futuristic looking. Aggressive but not too much. Very sporty. Pretty badass for a mom car!

Reliability

I had a Mazda 3 for ten solid years and it NEVER failed me. Kia is a company that also builds solid vehicles so I feel good about it!

CONS

Technology and Entertainment

I need to connect my iPhone to a usb port to enable Apple CarPlay. Not a huge biggie but would’ve been on my wish list to have it wireless.

2020 Kia Sportage

I love my Kia Sportage.

PROS

Ride and Handling

I never had any issues with my car last winter season, it’s so easy to drive knowing it’s an awd car.

Seat Comfort

The car is spacious and comfy inside, I like the moonroof especially on an evening ride.

Technology and Entertainment

The infotainment is okay, I bought a usb so I can connect my apply carplay.

Interior Space

The legroom, trunk space and seats are very comfy.

Value

The cost of the car is economical for me knowing how low my biweekly payment is.

Styling

I like the style of the car it’s comfy and sporty looking at the same time.

Reliability

I trust Asian car brands that’s why I chose Kia brand as my first owned car.

My car is an EX model so there’s nothing much to expect in terms of infotainment.

No more grocery getter for me...Kia Sportage here I come !

PROS

Technology and Entertainment

I truly enjoy the android auto. Its sobessy msking calls listening to music. Having Google maps on the screen is very helpful as well. Makes it super easy finding my way around.

Value

It definitely is a lot nicer filling up the gas tank definitely good value for the money

Its a very sporty looking car. I love how it looks. This was our first car after years of minivans. It was a fun fantastic step up. We fight over who gets to drive now. Dual comfort zones was a must as we both run different temperatures. Looking forward to years of her ! Gas was quite a bit cheaper

I haven't had to do much to repair the car. Its been very reliable
