2019 Subaru Outback

One of the best cars I’ve ever had!

PROS

Ride and Handling
Subaru AWD is the best for the winters where I live.
Seat Comfort
It’s comfortable to drive and comfortable to car camp in.
Technology and Entertainment
The head unit in this vehicle has known issues. I’ve already had it replaced once.
Interior Space
The space is great!
Value
I can use it for transporting drum gear or camping in!
Fuel Economy
It’s average.
Styling
Wagons are the best!
Reliability
No major issues.

2020 Subaru Outback

Love my Subaru Outback!

PROS

Ride and Handling
Handles great even in the bad weather.
Seat Comfort
Most comfortable car I have ever owned. I love the seats, plenty of leg room (I have long legs), and the heating feature is a bonus.
Interior Space
Great for the dogs, and the back seats fold down easily if I have to move anything large.
Styling
Looks nice and I feel proud driving around in it.
Reliability
Never an issue at the auto shop, everything just works.

CONS

Technology and Entertainment
Connection to the infotainment system is hit or miss. I have found if it's really cold it take a while to get connected and stay connected with my phone. When it works it's great.

2017 Outback, pragmatic puppy!

PROS

Great in snow!

Tech was in a transition phase as it is a 2017, but added a Hamilton module to bring it up to current standards
Interior Space
More backseat leg room than an XC90.
Value
Dollar for dollar, hard to beat.
Reliability
Seems to be holding to the Subaru reputation

Ride and Handling
Not going to win on the track, if that’s your thing.

2017 Subaru Outback

I bought a Subaru outback it’s pretty sweet

PROS

Seat Comfort
Very comfortable lots of room. Very quiet to drive.
Technology and Entertainment
It is a bit older, but the technology package is really good and the sound system is fantastic
Interior Space
Lots of room for two kids, dog, camping stuff, etc.

CONS

Reliability
I did have some issues when I first purchased the car, however, clutch covered all of the repairs. I do need to have transmission fluid change, which is quite pricey however, once it’s done, I don’t have to do it for another hundred thousand kilometers.

lane assist, android auto, windshield washer fluid cleans backup camera

Room for the whole family plus the dog.
Styling
Looks beefy without being as tall as a full sized SUV
Reliability
had zero issues so far

could be better (a PHEV in this format would be a dream)
